ABOUT Katrina Kaif
After establishing herself in the modeling industry, Katrina Kaif made her Bollywood debut in the 2003 film Boom. Her breakthrough came in 2005 when she starred opposite Salman Khan in Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya and made a cameo appearance in Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkar.
In 2007, Katrina achieved widespread recognition with hits like Namastey London, Partner and Welcome. However, it was her role in Kabir Khan's New York in 2009 that earned her critical acclaim, marking a shift towards more substantial roles in her career.
Since then, Katrina has aimed for a balance between mainstream entertainers such as Tees Maar Khan, De Dana Dan, Bodyguard, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Agneepath and more nuanced performances in films like Raajneeti, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Zero and Bharat. In recent years, she has garnered praise from critics for her acting prowess. She snatched all the praise in Salman Khan's Tiger 3, which performed below expectation at the box office. Her recent outing in Sriram Raghavan's Merry Christmas also earned her a lot of praise.
On the personal front, 2021 was a significant year for Katrina as she tied the knot with actor Vicky Kaushal after years of secretly dating. The couple had a beautiful wedding ceremony in Rajasthan.
