Fake arms license dealer held in Sonepat

Haryana police claim to have busted an inter-state racket of fake arms licenses with the arrest of a Sonepat resident,Jitender,from whose possession the Sonepat district police recovered 17 arms licenses which were allegedly made in Dimapur,Nagaland. Of the 17 arms licenses,two were in Jitenders name while the other 15 bore the names of people from across the country.

Three persons,including two wanted in the Sonepat jail break case in January this year,were arrested on Monday. Police also recovered three pistols,eight live cartridges and one motorcycle from their possession. The men have been identified as Sonu,Jitender and their associate Shiv Kumar.

Police ‘garland’ men to stop public urination in Telangana

Hyderabad (Telangana), Feb 29 (ANI): The traffic police in Hyderabad has come up with a unique idea to shame people who urinate in public - by hanging flower garlands around their necks. Speaking about the initiative, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Jitender, said that such campaigns raised public awareness about sanitation and personal hygiene. Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector of Traffic Police, N. Rama Krishna, said that the the initiative is a part of ‘Swachch Hyderabad’ drive to keep the city clean and also help people follow traffic rules.
