Hemant Sriram Patil biography

Hemant Sriram Patil is a prominent political figure associated with the Shiv Sena, representing the Hingoli constituency in the 17th Lok Sabha. Born on December 16, 1970, in Nanded district, Marathwada, Patil has been a leader with a strong focus on community service and activism, particularly for the Maratha community and farmers.

Patil embarked on his political journey with significant roles within the Shiv Sena, serving as the Nanded Zilha Pramukh from 2005 to 2013.
His political career saw a significant milestone when he was elected to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly in 2014, further consolidating his influence in regional politics.

The 2019 elections marked his entry into the national political arena, as he was elected to the Lok Sabha from Hingoli, Maharashtra.

In October 2023, Patil made headlines when he resigned from his position as a Member of Parliament in support of the Maratha community's demand for reservation in government jobs and education, a testament to his commitment to his community's welfare and rights.
