National Achievement Survey conducted successfully with 96% schools' participation from 24 states

The survey, which assesses the competencies developed by the students at the grade levels of third, fifth, and eighth, is conducted every three years. The survey was last conducted in 2017.

Raising the alarm bell,an education survey has revealed a decline in children's ability to do simple mathematics in rural India,with only 35.9 per cent in class V able to solve easy division problems last year as against 38 per cent in 2009.
