Amy Jackson

Amy Jackson is a British-model and one of the leading female actors in India. She entered the showbiz aspiring to make it big in modelling in her country, the UK. But, Tamil filmmaker AL Vijay offered her a role in his 2010 romantic period drama, after he spotted her photographs on the internet. She landed her first Indian movie at the age of 18 in the film titled Madharasapattinam. After it became a hit at the box office, more film roles came her way. So much so that she now considers India as her second home and gradually adapting to the Indian way of life. While she is yet to make a mark in Bollywood, down south she enjoys a significant popularity with the audience. She made her debut in Hindi with 2012 film Ekk Deewana Tha. The same year, she also had her first Telugu film release, Yevadu. She also bagged an important role in India's most expensive sci-fi film 2.0.
