Music has always been the main attraction for film lovers. Songs like 'Baby Doll', 'Johnny Johnny', 'Galliyan' and 'Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai' made 2014 a superb musical year. Some songs did even better than the movies. Here is a list of top 10 songs from 2014.
Baby doll - Ragini MMS 2: 'Baby Doll Main Sone Di' by Meet Brothers starring Sunny Leone from Ragini MMS 2 became an instant hit. People also watched the dance moves of Sunny Leone. Sung by Kanika Kapoor, Meet Bros, it was one of the chartbusters of this year.
Johnny Johnny - Its Entertainment: The nursery rhyme was given a Bollywood twist by Akshay Kumar this season. Sung by Jigar Saraiya, Madhav Krishna and Priya Saraiya, the song has been composed by Jigar - Sachin. Though the movie was a flop but the song became a party anthem this year.
Abhi toh party Shuru Hui Hai - Khoobsurat: Sonam Kapoor drew all the attention with her cute looks, sweet dance moves and props in this song. Sung by Punjabi singer Badshah it was a peppy party number and is still played by DJs in discs and pubs.
Galliyan - Ek Villain: The most hummed song of the year was 'Galliyan' from 'Ek Villain'. Beautifully sung and composed by Ankit Tiwari, the song has been penned down by Manoj Muntashir. Galliyan's unplugged version sung by film's lead actress Shraddha Kapoor.
Jumme Ki Raat - Kick: Salman Khan made a Kick-ing comeback with Kick this year and its song 'Jumme Ki Raat' sung by Mika was icing on the cake. And the song is favourite among youngsters and a must at every party.
Raat Bhar - Heropanti: Sharing some romantic moments onscreen, B-Town debutantes Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon looked perfect in the song. Shreya Ghoshal and Arijit Singh do justice to this lovely romantic number. One of the most soothing songs of the year, it made lovers groove over it.
Manwa Laage - Happy New Year: A romantic song featuring King Of Romance Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone was a soothing number. This was also sung by Arijit Singh along with Shreya Ghoshal. Composed by Vishal-Shekhar, the lyrics were penned down by Irshad Kamil.
Samjhawan - Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania: Originally sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for the Punjabi movie 'Virsa', the new version of 'Samjhawan' was sung by Arijit Singh for 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'. Alia Bhatt also turned singer for its unplugged version.
London Thumakda - Queen: It was a foot tapping number, 'London Thumakda' from this year's surprise hit Queen starring Kangana Ranaut and Lisa Haydon.
Tu Meri - Bang Bang: Hrithik Roshan showed off his killer dance moves with Katrina Kaif in Tu Meri from hit movie 'Bang Bang'. A combination of groovy dance moves and romance, this song has been composed by Vishal - Shekhar and Vishal Dadlani has beautifully sung it.
