London: Hollywood actor James Franco has taken to the pages of one of the worlds leading gay magazines to end speculation about his sexuality. The actor,who played gay activist Scott Smith in Milk,tells said hes not a homosexual,despite reports to the contrary. Some people think I’m gay because Ive played these gay roles… but its not true… Im not gay, Daily Express quoted him as telling The Advocate. Id tell you if I was. I guess the reason I wouldnt is because Id be worried that it would hurt my career. I suppose thats the reason one wouldnt do that… But no,that wouldnt be something that would deter me. Im going to do projects that I want to do, Franco added.

Former JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, grandson of former PM H D Deve Gowda, has been assigned clerical duties at Parappana Agrahara Central Prison after receiving a life sentence for rape. He earns Rs 520 per day and faces multiple charges stemming from four cases, with evidence including videos of the assaults recorded on his phone. He was found guilty in one case and still faces trial in the others.
