Soon, complaints redressal page on Facebook: Maneka

Taking charge of the Women and Child Development Ministry, Maneka Gandhi Wednesday announced that the ministry would soon set up an interactive complaints redressal page on Facebook. She attended a meeting with senior officials soon after taking charge.

Later, she said the complaints page would be for grievances on issues like adoption, sexual offences and atrocities against women. The ministry will interact directly with the aggrieved through the page. It could also be used to bring pending issues to the minister’s attention.
