PM Modi praises Sushma Swaraj’s speech at UN

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today praised External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj for "wonderfully" highlighting India's contribution to the UN during her speech at the UN General Assembly.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today praised External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj for “wonderfully” highlighting India’s contribution to the UN during her speech at the UN General Assembly.

“Just spoke to @SushmaSwaraj ji & congratulated her for the excellent speech at the @UN. A perfect articulation of key global issues,” Modi said in an early morning tweet.

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsApart from taking on Pakistan, asking it to shun terror to have dialogue with India, Swaraj also spoke about key issues including India’s initiative on climate change and urgent need for UN Security Council reforms. “EAM @SushmaSwaraj has wonderfully highlighted India’s contribution to @UN & shared India’s vision of what UN must be in the 21st century. “In her speech EAM @SushmaSwaraj has rightly emphasised on the need to end all forms of terror & make the world a peaceful place to live in…Fully agree with you @SushmaSwaraj ji,” he said.
