After trailing for most of the initial rounds, the Grand Alliance has finally gathered some steam and pulled back NDA’s lead in the Bihar elections.
The Bihar polls opened to confusion on Sunday morning as conflicting trends were broadcast by various news outlets, leading to celebrations on both sides.

Reports suggest that the JD(U) and RJD are currently neck-and-neck and Congress is also set to win in at least eight seats if they are able to sustain their leads.
With trends changing every minute, it is all set to be a nerve-wracking finish for the NDA and Grand Alliance.

7.45 am: “The result of the Bihar elections will matter most to one person — Mr Narendra Modi,” writes former finance minister Chidambaram in his Sunday column.
7.35 am: A post-poll survey — not an exit poll — conducted by the Lokniti-CSDS for The Indian Express predicted a four per cent swing for the Grand Alliance in terms of voting percentage. A pre-poll survey by the same firm gave NDA the lead by the same percentage.
