The audio launch of Rajinikanth-Shankar film 2.0 is probably the grandest film event this year with the makers going all out to promote and market the film. In a reflection of how big the show is, the makers have revealed a poster that looks equally opulent. Painted in gold, the poster has Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson amid blazing fire with a watchful Akshay Kumar on the top. The music album of the much-awaited project is being unveiled today in Dubai’s Burj Park. Composed by maestro AR Rahman, the album is said to have three songs out of which two will be unveiled today. The Mozart of Madras will also be performing the songs live with 125 symphony artists. The event will be hosted by RJ Balaji in Tamil, Rana Daggubati in Telugu and the ace director Karan Johar in Hindi. At the press meet on Thursday, Shankar had also revealed that 2.0 will be set in the same universe as Enthiran but the story is completely new. Terming it a film with a global message, the director had said that Akshay’s character will have several layers. It is said that the producers have distributed more than 12,000 free passes and have made arrangements to live stream the event.
