Sean Penn lists his private Malibu estate for $ 6.5 million

More than five years after purchasing his 3,200 square-foot mansion in Malibu, actor Sean Penn has decided to put the home up for sale.

“This home is surrounded by lush gardens and includes a detached guest house, making it a great spot to entertain,” Redfin real estate agent Alec Traub said.

“It’s cool and classy, just like the actor,” Traub added. Located in a gated community on a private cul-de-sac, the single story home also includes a very private detached guest house and a maids/office that is adjacent to the garage.

“Penn purchased the home in 2009 for USD 3.8 million, and it’s now listed for USD 6.55 million,” Traub revealed.
