Ian Somerhalder - Nikki Reed tied the knot on Sunday (April 26).

“The Vampire Diaries” actor Ian Somerhalder has married “Twilight” star Nikki Reed after dating for almost one year.

The couple tied the knot on Sunday after photographs of their sunset ceremony emerged on Twitter.

In the photos, Reed, 26, who was previously married to singer-songwriter Paul McDonald, can be seen in a white lace gown while 36-year-old Somerhalder wore a white suit and shirt.

Several other photos shared on the micro-blogging site see the married couple posing for wedding shots on the sunny day.

Somerhalder, who previously dated his “The Vampire Diaries” co-star Nina Dobrev, hinted about the big day on twitter.

“Most beautiful morning ever,” he posted.

The couple, who started dating in early 2014, got engaged in January this year after six months of dating.
