Veteran actress Tanuja along with her star daughters Kajol and Tanishaa came together to commemorate a partnership between Orchids Breast Health Center and Siemens Healthcare for the cause of breast cancer awareness here.

“With the increase in awareness, women in India are starting to understand the importance of getting tested. I think this brilliant technology is revolutionary step forward towards prevention,” Tanishaa said in a statement.

The trio along with a panel consisting of Indian doctors discussed the 2D Mammography machine with 3D Tomosynthesis, a new technology which was inaugurated on Tuesday for early detection of pre-cancer.

The three have been actively supporting the cause of breast cancer awareness through the Prashanti Cancer Care Mission, a non-profit NGO with Kajol as their brand ambassador and Tanuja as a trustee.
