Khloe steps down as PETA spokesperson

Kim was pelted with flour minutes after she arrived at charity event in West Hollywood.

Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian has quit as a spokesperson for animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) following reports suggesting a member of the organisation was the woman who flour bombed her sister Kim at an event.

Kim was pelted with flour minutes after she arrived at a charity event in West Hollywood on Thursday night,Daily Star reported.

“I just received word that the woman responsible has very close ties to PETA,despite PETA publicly stating otherwise. Not only has PETA lied to the public, but they have proved that they support this kind of behavior.

“Bullying and harassment is never a solution and I won’t be a part of any organization that thinks otherwise,” Khloe posted on Twitter.

The attack was reportedly prompted by the socialite’s refusal to stop wearing fur. However,PETA bosses insisted the flour attack had nothing to do with them as Kim threatened to press charges against the group.
