Shah Rukh Khan, Dilwale, Dilwale boycott, SRK Dilwale Shah Rukh Khan on Dilwale boycott: “Film release hone se pehle yeh sab baatein na karo. Film ki baat karo toh accha hain. (Please talk about our film). Hum sab yeh samay film main uljhe hue hai aur baaki baatein samajh main nahi aati (We are so much immersed into our films that we are not able to understand anything else). While there are a few sporadic protests against ‘Dilwale’ in few parts of the country, Shah Rukh Khan prefers to focus on the good things of the film and believes only good will happen to his film on the day of its release, December 18.

The Maharashtra Navnirman Chitrapat Karmachari Sena had appealed to people to boycott the Shah Rukh-Kajol’s Dilwale releasing this week, alleging that the actor has “ignored the plight of farmers reeling under severe drought”.

At the music celebration of Dilwale, when SRK was quizzed about the MNS film unit wing’s call to boycott ‘Dilwale’, King Khan humbly sent out a request. “Film release hone se pehle yeh sab baatein na karo. Film ki baat karo toh accha hain. (Please talk about our film). Hum sab yeh samay film main uljhe hue hai aur baaki baatein samajh main nahi aati (We are so much immersed into our films that we are not able to understand anything else). Lekin inshallah sab kuch accha hi hoga hamaari film ke saath,” said Shah Rukh Khan.

Apart from MNS, protests were also observed in some other pockets of the country with people calling for boycotting Dilwale over SRK’s comments on intolerance.
