Salman Khan kickstarted the promotions of his Diwali release ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, with a raas garba event in Ahmedabad recently.

Salman Khan kickstarted the promotions of his Diwali release ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, with a raas Garba event in Ahmedabad recently. The ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor was accompanied by his co-star Sonam Kapoor and appeared to be in high spirits as he started dancing, bringing back memories of his effortlessly executed moves in ‘Dholi Taro’, which was over a decade ago.

“Salman hasn’t danced the Garba for years and it was his suggestion that they join the festivities before Navratri wound to a close. The fact that he was there in his much-loved Prem avatar only added to the fun and jhatkas,” said a spokesman from the movie.

‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ marks the reunion of Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya after a gap of 15 years. The movie has an ensemble cast including Anupam Kher, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Swara Bhaskar, Deepak Dobriyal and is slated to release on November 12, 2015.
