‘Saala Khadoos’ trailer to be launched with a twist

The theatrical trailer of Rajkumar Hirani’s sports film, featuring R. Madhavan and debutante Ritika Singh, will be launched here with the cast members expressing gratitude to their respective mentors, read a statement.

The makers of “Saala Khadoos”, along with Madhavan, have invited their respective mentors and to pay tribute to them on the occasion.

Hirani has called filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Siddharth Roy Kapur has invited Ronnie Screwvala and Madhavan has invited his mentor Kamal Haasan.

Directed by debutante Sudha Kongara, the film features Madhavan in the leading role, as a boxing coach, who has a reputation of being a hard task-master.

The film’s female lead Ritika will be seen essaying a boxer in the film. It weaves a story around how a coach prepares Ritika to create a place for herself in the world of boxing.

“Saala Khadoos” is a film by Rajkumar Hirani Films and Tricolour Films in association with UTV Motion Pictures and will hit the theatres on January 28, next year.
