RJ Balaji joins Mahesh Babu’s next
RJ Balaji has reportedly been roped in to play an important role in Mahesh Babu's upcoming yet-untitled Tamil-Telugu bilingual.

Actor RJ Balaji has reportedly been roped in to play an important role in Mahesh Babu’s upcoming yet-untitled Tamil-Telugu bilingual. “Balaji will play Mahesh’s friend. He wouldn’t be seen as a regular comedian and has more to do than just evoke laughter. It’s an interesting character and helps the hero in many situations,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.
Being directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the film is currently being shot in Hyderabad. Balaji is expected to join the sets next week. Also starring Rakul Preet Singh and SJ Suryah, the project is tipped to being made on a budget of Rs 90 crore. Harris Jayaraj has been roped in to compose the music.
Filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss earlier confirmed that actor-filmmaker S.J Suryah, who stunned audiences with his performance in last week’s Tamil film “Iraivia, will play the antagonist in his yet-untitled Tamil-Telugu bilingual film with Mahesh Babu.
“Suryah plays an antagonist in my next. Looking forward to work with him,” Murugadoss wrote on his Twitter page.The film, which will be made on a budget of Rs. 90 crore, reportedly features Parineeti Chopra as the leading lady. The regular shooting of the project, according to a source, will commence from July 15 in Hyderabad. This is the first time Mahesh and Murugadoss are collaborating. The film will be produced by Tagore Madhu and will have music by Harris Jayaraj.
Mahesh Babu recently turned 41 , the south superstar has a gift all planned for his fans. Upending the institution where fans line up with gifts and wishes for their favourite star, Srimanthudu actor had a surprise all planned for his followers.
