Sonam Kapoor has given her best on screen performance this time in the fresh released trailer of Neerja Bhanot. The actress takes you through the life of the brave air hostess who gave up her life to save 359 lives on a plane that was hijacked by terrorists in 1983.

Neerja, a beautiful 23 year old model cum air hostess, is the life of all places she visits and loves her job is full of life and energy. A much loved member of her family she is asked by her mother (Shabana Azmi) to give up on her career in aviation and stick to modelling, which she refuses to do.

A tragic event unfolds in her life when her plane gets hijacked by terrorists. Sonam Kapoor is seen fighting them and saving all those little ones and adults who boarded that plane.

The actress had recently said that she was under stress while shooting for the film.

Also starring Shekhar Ravjiani, ‘Neerja’ has been directed by Ram Madhvani.
