My superhero film with Ranbir Kapoor is a modern day fairytale: Ayan Mukherjee

Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Ayan’s superhero film will see Ranbir playing the titular role of the superhero something that he has never done before.

Ayan Mukherjee has rubbished rumours of his superhero film starring Ranbir Kapoor having been shelved. Clarifying the same Ayan said, “My film is on. We are looking to start shooting by end of this year.”

Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Ayan’s superhero film will see Ranbir playing the titular role of the superhero something that he has never done before. Talking more about the film, Ayan told us, “It’s an adventure fantasy or a modern day fairytale. It’s a film that is set in contemporary India but there is a hint of some ancient Indian magic.”

When quizzed if Ranbir would wear a spandex in the film, Ayan said, “No, he won’t be wearing a spandex, unfortunately.”
