Ajay Devgn has claimed Karan Johar paid Rs 25 lakh to Kamaal R Khan to support Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and attack his Shivaay.

Ajay Devgn is apparently furious with Kamaal R Khan going all out to praise Ae Dil Hai Mushkil teaser and bad mouthing his film Shivaay on the social networking site. KRK had earlier spoken in the favour of Shivaay. Ajay’s Shivaay is clashing with Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil on Diwali. Both are big-budget films and want to cash in on the festive season.

It all started when Ajay got his business partner Kumar Mangat to ring up KRK and check the real reason behind “self-proclaimed” film critic’s change of stance. In a taped telephonic conversation between Kumar Mangat and KRK, the record of which is with us, KRK is seen confessing that he has to speak positive things about Ae Dil Hai Mushkil as he claimed he had received 25 lakhs from Karan. Ajay has eventually demanded an investigation into the matter.

“I have been a part of the Indian film industry for the past 25 years and have been associated with over 100 films. My father was a professional action director and I have an emotional connection with this industry. It, therefore, pains me to see that people like Kamaal R Khan are holding the film industry to ransom by spreading negativity about films to extort money from producers.
It is very sad that people from our own industry are supporting such elements and spoiling the ethos of the film industry. I would strongly demand that this be thoroughly investigated by competent authorities to clarify if Karan Johar was indeed involved in this,” Ajay said in an official statement.

KRK has since tried to clarify things in a series of tweets. He has also claimed that Ajay offered him money to slam Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Meanwhile, here are the tweets that allegedly made Ajay Devgn see red and launch this ‘sting’ operation.
