1. Akshay Kumar in a sparkling courtroom drama
We saw Akshay Kumar in a courtroom drama in Rustom but this is for the first time you will see him in one which is so full of laughs. The first scene itself is hilarious when a straight-faced Akshay asks Kumud Mishra, “Salman Khan ki shaadi kab hogi?” Now, Akshay, you could not have touched on a more burning question. We do wonder what Salman has to say about this though. But having said that, India sure wants to know.

2. This court is very Bollywood
If a mention of Salman was not enough, we also see judge Saurabh Shukla asking Akshay to drop his Nirupama Roy act when the lawyer gets a wee bit too melodramatic. And this brings us to Shukla who was sparkling in Jolly LLB and has managed to stay in form for the sequel. We hope, the director Subhash Kapoor has given enough vinegary lines to the actor.

3. Annu Kapoor’s bad lawyer
If Boman Irani was the smarmy lawyer last time round, Annu Kapoor is the bad guy in Jolly LLB 2. With a chip on his shoulder and a threat on his lips, he plays the veteran to Akshay’s newbie. Uh oh, and gets slapped for his efforts.

4. Not a slapstick
Jolly LLB 2 might be a courtroom comedy but it is not a slapstick comedy like Housefull 3 or Shaukeens. The film makes the characters go through drama and tragedy because of which we see Akshay fighting against corruption and against injustice. We also see him being shot, which makes us even more curious.

5. Dialogues
We will leave you with just one explosive dialogue from the Jolly LLB 2 trailer. Akshay says, “The world’s biggest liar had said that everything is fair in love and war. And if that’s true, then those who behead soldiers at the border are legitimate and so are the lovers who throw acid on girls.”

Jolly LLB 2 also stars Huma Qureshi and will release in February.
