Force 2 box office collection day 4: John Abraham film sees decent first weekend collection
Force 2 box office collection day 4: Film starring Johan Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles has collected Rs 21 crore in the first three days.

Force 2 starring Johan Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles has collected Rs 21 crore in the first three days. There were concerns that demonetisation might affect the film’s box office collections. The film that released on over 1800 screens is a solo hero film of John. Makers were confident that demonetisation would not affect the film. Force 2 collected Rs 6.05 and Rs 7 crores on Friday and Saturday respectively, taking the total collection to 13 crores on Saturday.
The first weekend collection is good news for the whole team. Trade analyst Joginder Tuteja shared, ” #Force2 – Sat – ~7 cr. Total so far – ~13 cr.” Directed by Abhinay Deo, Force 2 is an action thriller. The film also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin. John is playing ACP Yashvardhan and Sonakshi Sinha will be seen as a RAW agent. Force 2 has earlier got positive reviews from the audience. The positive word of mouth can help the film get a decent weekend collection. Another thing that can benefit the film is its patriotism angle.
Bollywood films that opened last Friday at the box office fared poorly. Farhan Akhtar’s Rock On 2 failed to make any decent money owing to sparsely populated shows.

Talking to indianexpress.com, Producer Vipul Shah said, “The country is going through a change and our PM has taken a step that will change our country and the whole country needs to stand behind it. People are supporting the decision too. So we feel it is our duty to stand with our government and not create chaos by shifting our film and making it clash with some other film.”
