He went on to explain how his grandchildren have grown and ready to break into adulthood. He wrote, “The grandchildren have grrrroooooowwwnnnn ! They are tall and filled up and with crackling voice, about to break through to maturity. And the short time spent with them was educative and sound.”

The megastar also rued over the enormity of traffic in New Delhi, which sometimes overtakes Mumbai too. “Back, through the traffic of Delhi which at times … at times … beats Mumbai to it, on to the plane and back home … and domesticity, and simple issues that occurred during this short departure,” added he.

The Bachchans are said to be a close knit family and Amitabh Bachchan has never shied away from expressing his love for his children and grandchildren, be it Abhishek and his daughter Aaradhya or Shweta and her children. Big B also posted a picture of Abhishek and Aishwarya and their daughter Aaradhya from the event where Aishwarya was awarded the ‘most successful Miss World ever’, captioning it as “the most attractive feature of the picture is the surprised face of the tiny tot.”
