The Indian Medical Association will conduct a workshop on disaster management on December 18. Topics to be discussed include hospital preparedness and management of critical patients,role of medical practitioners in disaster,management of dead bodies in mass disaster and a mock drill will be held for doctors and general public.

New research initiative launched

Chest Research Foundation has launched its new Oral and Respiratory Research Initiative (CORRIN) as part of its 10 th anniversary celebrations. Public health dentist,Dr Pradnya Kakodkar will be heading the venture.
