PTU students jive to Jhankar beats

The Punjab Technical University (PTU) learning centre at Feroze Gandhi Market,Ludhiana,organised the mega-cultural competition festival ‘Jhankar 2009: the music beholds’,for the students of the PTU distance education programme learning centre.

Chief Parliamentary Secretary Bikramjit Singh Khalsa was the chief guest on the occasion while Additional Director,Depeartment of Technical Education,Punjab,Naresh Nagpal was the guest of honour.

President of the All India PTU DEP Associates DS Sekhon said the PTU distance education programme has given new dimensions to technical and skill-based education.

Various cultural events like solo dance,solo song,skit,group dance and modelling were held during the function.
