One killed in Saket hit-and-run: SUV driver arrested

The Scorpio first hit two pedestrians, identified as Dinesh and Ganesh, both residents of Khanpur village near Asian Market. It then headed towards Sector 1 of Pushp Vihar, where it hit a motorcycle.

Two days after a 27-year-old man died while his brother and two other pedestrians were injured when an SUV hit them in Saket, police have arrested the driver.

According to police, the accused has been identified as Abhishek Chaudhary (21). He had fled the spot after the accident. “Three separate PCR calls regarding the accident were received at Saket police station. The Scorpio first hit two pedestrians, identified as Dinesh and Ganesh, both residents of Khanpur village near Asian Market. It then headed towards Sector 1 of Pushp Vihar, where it hit a motorcycle. It was being driven by Narender, while his brother Suresh was riding pillion,” a police officer said.

All four men were taken to AIIMS Trauma Centre, where doctors declared Narender brought dead. The condition of his elder brother is critical, while the two pedestrians were discharged after treatment.
