Delhi: Three juveniles arrested for murdering man by stabbing him 47 times
Wanted to take revenge on brother for beating up their mother.

Delhi Police arrested three juveniles for murdering a 25-year-old man by stabbing him 47 times, in northeast Delhi’s Nand Nagri area.
Police said one of the juveniles is the victim’s brother. He allegedly paid Rs 20, 000 to the other two juveniles to kill his brother. He wanted to take revenge because his brother used to beat up his mother and always quarreled in the house.
The incident happened on February 3. The victim’s body discovered by a security guard in a DDA park about a km away from their house.

“The autopsy of the victim showed he was stabbed 47 times. We analysed his mobile phone and found that the last call he received was from one of the juveniles.
We have apprehended all three juveniles,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (northeast) Ajit Kumar Singhla .
“The victim’s brother said no one in their family could control his behaviour. So the juvenile decided to kill his brother with the help of two others. One of the juveniles called called the victim on the night of February night for drinks, where he was stabbed,” added the DCP.
Police said they fled the scene, leaving the body lying in a pool of blood. One of them threw the victim’s mobile phone in a garbage dump, which the other juvenile picked up secretly, said police.
Police added that one of the juveniles was apprehended two months ago in Nand Nagri for snatching phones. All three are above 16.
“We are in the process of writing to the Juvenile Justice Board urging them to act in view of the amended Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015 under which juveniles over 16 years can be treated like adults,” said the DCP.
Police said during questioning, the first juvenile said the brother of the dead man had offered him and the other boy Rs 20,000 to kill his brother.
Based on the information, police apprehended the second juvenile who had an injury on his leg. “He said he received the cut on his leg during the crime,” said an officer.
