Three kids drown in Kutch pond

Three girls drowned while bathing in a pond at Sandhro Vandh village in Lakhpat taluka of Kutch district
on Wednesday.

Baiyabai Jat (9), her sister Niyamatbai (5) and their cousin Amnabai Jat (9) were swayed in deep waters while taking bath and drowned, said Narayan Sarovar police sub-inspector Vikramsinh Rana said.

The villagers rushed the girls to a government hospital in Dayapar town of the taluka, but they were declared brought dead.
