Indian Army recruitment in state from September 21

The candidates should have minimum education of 10th standard pass with 45 per cent overall aggregate.

A recruitment rally will be held for 188 Infantry (Territorial Army) in  Nagpur for three days where candidates from Gujarat besides six other states and union territories have been called.

The recruitment process will begin from September 21 at Sitabuldi fort in  Nagpur. The officials said that the recruitment will be carried out for soldier (general duty) and tradesman (chef community cook, hair dresser and housekeeper).

The candidates should have minimum education of 10th standard pass with 45 per cent overall aggregate (or equivalent) and 33 per cent marks in each subject. However, for the tradesman, cook and hair dresser, a pass certificate of Class X is sufficient.

Permissible age group is between 18 to 42 years, the officials added. The candidates have been also requested to bring their certificates, copies of degrees, photographs and other necessary documents.
