Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb and a host of other centrally-protected monuments in Delhi were reopened for visitors on Monday after being shut for over three months due to the COVID-19.
All guidelines, including social distancing and sanitisation measures, will be followed at these heritage sites.
Wearing of masks is mandatory and no one will be allowed to enter without it.
In each slot, a maximum of 1,500 visitors will be allowed, an official told PTI. A very frail number of visitors were witnessed at the Qutab Minar, after it reopened post-Covid lockdown on Monday.
Visitors can book tickets in either of the two slots -- forenoon slot, which starts in the morning and ends at noon; and afternoon slot from noon to 6 pm.
Entry tickets shall be issued by e-mode only. No physical tickets will be issued until further orders. In pic: Delhi's Purana Qila also opened its doors to visitors Monday.
As many as 3,691 centrally-protected monuments and archaeological sites maintained by the ASI were shut from March 17 due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
