Getting into character: Nawazuddin Siddiqui as APJ Abdul Kalam may not exactly be a bad proposition. The actor shares the same lean frame and body structure as the late former President of India and given the fact that he is a brilliant actor one can hazard a guess that he would do complete justice to the role. While some recent reportage suggested that the Nawaz may essay the role of India’s most loved President, the actor denied this news.
Speaking at the trailer launch of Raman Raghav 2.0, Nawaz said, “I have not yet been approached but it would be great if I get a chance. He was a great personality and I would be happy if I get a chance to play him on screen.” (Source: Photo by Varinder Chawla)
