Ram Sethu to RTE Bill

With Secretary,School Education,in the HRD Ministry,A K Rath,retiring by the end of the month,the mantle is set to fall on current DG,Archaeological Survey of India,Anshu Vaish. A Madhya Pradesh cadre official,Vaish was hoping the ASI would offer her a relatively quiet stint,but it turned out to be rather stormy as the Ram Sethu affair put her department in the spotlight. Now,with the implementation of the Right to Education Bill set to be an uphill task,it is hoped that her experience as Education Secretary in MP will stand her in good stead.
