Emraan Hashmi craves for pizzas and sweets,but he cannot cook to save his life!

Presently I am on a boring diet,as the shooting for Murder 2 is in progress and I have to be in shape. My meals comprise dal,roti,chicken and rice. They are cooked by my mother or my wife Parveen,both of whom are excellent cooks. I am the only one at home who is not allowed in the kitchen,because I cannot cook to save my life!

Favourite food
Though Indian food is my all-time favourite,I quite like Thai,Japanese and Italian cuisine. In Italian,it is pizzas that I love,and I find the thin crust ones simply irresistible as I prefer to get more taste of the sauce,cheese and other toppings. Also I don’t want to be filled up too quickly.

Sweet tooth
I have a major sweet tooth and cannot resist chocolates,tiramisu,rassogollas…the list is very long. But like I said,I cannot enjoy them for a while.

Last best meal
I can never forget the meal I had when I went for a holiday with my wife to Malaysia some time back. We had ordered a dish called ketupal,a rice dumpling served with chicken made in coconut milk at a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. It’s a local item that is very popular and I found the taste unique and interesting. But I must say that whenever I am back home in Mumbai,I love to dig into some dal and chawal.

* Pour the water combination into the bowl (or food processor) and mix until ready to knead (around 30 seconds in a food processor). If using a bowl,mix with a spoon until you have a neat ball.

* Lightly sprinkle flour on a rolling board. Turn out dough and knead for around 2-3 minutes. Lightly cover your finger-tips with flour if the mixture is a little sticky.

* Roll out by hand for a 12” base.

* Place in 12” lightly-oiled oven pan. Press out dough to form a slight lip.

* Prepare and apply your sauce and topping of choice.

* Cook in a pre-heated over (500 degrees F) for 8-12 minutes

* Remove from oven and slice
