Pawar ‘only credible’ leader to be next PM: NCP

The Jammu and Kashmir unit of NCP on Tuesday said party chief Sharad Pawar is the “only credible leader” to head the next coalition at the Centre as neither Congress nor BJP is in a position to form a stable government. “All secular and progressive parties should come forward and support Pawar to form the next government at the Centre. He is the only leader credible who can provide a strong leadership to the country,” state NCP president Thakur Randhir

Singh said in a statement here.

Singh said,”The present political scenario in the country indicates that there is no possibility of Congress or BJP getting more than 140 seats each. They will have to depend on other national and regional parties for their support to get simple majority,which seems quite impossible.”

“Left as well as the Third and Fourth front seem ready to extend their support to NCP to form the government at the Centre,” he claimed.
