Alka Yagnik and Kapil Rauunak sing various lullabies in an attempt to revive the genre that existed in cinema for several decades and in Indian homes for centuries. However, while Alka is in good form, the lyrics and music leave much to be desired and co-singer Kapil, lets say,has a lot of room for improvement.

Sai Meher
Universal,Rs 75
Manhar’s latest Sai Baba devotional is a mixed bag,but most of the tracks score. The gimmicky You are my Jesus may not be appreciated but is okay, and the best tracks (Manhar himself composes and Vikas Mehta writes lyrics) are Shirdi se aaye Sai,which describes the physical appearance of the saint from Shirdi,Socha na tha tum mil jaaoge (which sounds at cursory hearing like a romantic duet) and Navnathon jaisi bhakti na mili.
