Kash Walk

The second edition of the Bridal Couture Exposition 2011,organised by Amit Kashyap’s fashion brand Enlivens Deiva,came to a dazzling close on Sunday at Taj Chandigarh. With the wedding season set to roll out,the two-day exposition offered designer wear by names like Aradhana and Meenakshi from Mumbai,Richa Rathore from Chandigarh,Mumbai’s Rrupaali with her label Empress and Delhi-based designer Prateek Kalra. The two days also saw some action on the ramp with interesting designs showcased by models. To add to the celebrity quotient,the organisers brought in actor Kashmera Shah to walk the ramp. Shah,who looked a tad old and out of place for a bridal showcase,did manage to pull in the crowd as the city’s fashion frat jostled for space at the show that ran to a full house.
