Hrithik Roshan was hospitalised early this week for a day following an allergic reaction to an antibiotic.

Hrithik Roshan was hospitalised early this week for a day following an allergic reaction to an antibiotic. Hrithik has been under medication for suspected malaria but complications started on November 21 at around 4 pm.

The actor said that his lungs and throat went into spasm because of side-effects. He has been unwell for quite sometime even as he promoted his film Guzaarish tirelessly. His performance as a quadriplaegic has been earning rave reviews. While director Sanjay Leela Bhansali said Hrithik’s performance was better than Daniel Day-Lewis’ part as a paraplaegic in My Two Left Feet,actress Shabana Azmi said that if she had a son,she would like him to be like Hrithik. The actor will next be seen in Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Deepika’s frankspeak shocks all

Deepika Padukone surprised everybody with her frankspeak on last Sunday’s Koffee With Karan. From Ranbir Kapoor to Siddharth Mallya to Shobhaa De,everybody was brought under the scanner in a dignified way by the former model. The actress is also looking forward to the release of her latest movie Break Ke Baad that releases on Friday. Before shooting for the movie,producer Kunal Kohli had arranged a party where she met her co-star Imran Khan. At the party,somebody clicked a picture of the two actors and suddenly everyone realised that Imran at 5’10” is actually taller than Deepika who is 5’9″. The pair’s height became such a hot topic at the party that they were actually measured with a tape. Deepika revealed that the incident helped break the ice between her and Imran. The actress will also be seen in Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey with Abhishek Bachchan on December 3.

Boman attends IFFI

Boman Irani has completed a month-and-a-half-long schedule in Berlin for director Farhan Akhtar’s forthcoming film Don 2: The Chase Continues. Boman,who plays the antagonist Vardhaan,will share screen space with Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra in the film. Boman is presently in Goa attending the International Film Festival of India (IFFI). The talented actor,who has had the audiences in splits with his performances in Munna Bhai MBBS,Waqt,Dostana,Housefull,etc has been invited to IFFI as a guest to impart his experience on the changing face of Bollywood comedians. Boman,who believes that it is the toughest job in the world to make people laugh,said that he was extremely proud to be recognised for his talent. The versatile actor is also currently seen on the small screen hosting the business game show The Pitch on UTV Bloomberg.
