Gayle to join KKR squad ahead of Royals clash

Kolkata Knight Riders big hitting opener Chris Gayle will join the side in Ahmedabad on Thursday ahead of their IPL match against Rajasthan Royals on Saturday.

Gayle has already arrived in Mumbai and he would join the squad in Ahmedabad tomorrow, a KKR official said.

The Knight Riders had a rest day today after their last nights loss to Chennai Super Kings. They are are still expecting the services of their other opener Brendon McCullum who is busy with New Zealands Test commitments against Australia.
