Calling all dandies

Men’s fashion is certainly picking up in Mumbai. After brands like Ermenegildo Zegna,Canali and Etro made their presence strongly felt in the city,Italian clothing label,Corneliani is set to rope in the increasingly stylish Mumbai man. The brand celebrated the launch of its two stores in the city — one in the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower at Colaba and the other at the Grand Hyatt in Santa Cruz. Especially present for the party held on April 15 at the Taj’s Ballroom,was the brand’s global sales director Cristiano Corneliani. We were hoping to spot a few dapper men at the launch,but instead bumped into Mahakshay Chakraborty dressed in torn and stained jeans. Not exactly known for his sense of occasion,is he?
