Speak out: Will Congress gain by appeasing allies?

However,will it gain politically and perhaps electorally,if it takes a more confrontational stance against its allies on these issues? Or,do you think that Congress will gain by its current please-all-allies approach?

Congress is being lambasted by its allies on crucial issues like NCTC,Railways Budget and the Sri Lankan Tamils’ war crimes issue by Trinamool Congress and DMK.

Akhilesh Yadav has shown scant regard for the ruling party at the Centre by inducting historysheeter Raja Bhaiyya in the Cabinet,indicating he knows it can’t do without Samajwadi Party’s support.

Congress has sought to backpaddle on all these issues,hurting its image and laying bare its lame duck status.

However,will it gain politically and perhaps electorally,if it takes a more confrontational stance against its allies on these issues?
