Das (Jan Suraaj Party), Kanhaiya Kumar (IND), Manoj Kumar (Rashtriya Jansambhavna Party), Md Hasan (AAP), Md Shabbir Ansari (IND), Sanjay Kumar Kejriwal (IND), Sanjay Kumar S/O Jatan Rajak (IND), Sanjay Kumar S/O Late Nand Kishor Prasad (IND), Shanu Kumar (Aazad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram)).
In the last Assembly elections, the INC’s Bijendra Chaudhary won by a margin of 6326 votes. The BJP’s Suresh Kumar Sharma was the runner up securing 75545 votes.
Bihar witnessed a voter turnout of 57.3% this year, slightly higher than in 2020. The regional alliances — the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan and the NDA comprising JD(U) and BJP and others — battled for dominance in the state.
