Rahul Gandhi in Bihar's Muzaffarpur said PM Modi takes a dip in his swimming pool and calls it the Yamuna (YT@@IndianNationalCongress)Rahul Gandhi in Bihar: Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi took a dig a Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the NDA saying that they were using Chhath and Yamuna clean-up promises to rake in votes. He said PM Modi took a dip in a “swimming pool” and called it the Yamuna.
“It’s a drama… Modiji says ‘Look I am bathing in the Yamuna’. But in reality, there was no Yamuna there. There’s a pond. Modi took a dip in his swimming pool, the pond. He couldn’t care less about the Yamuna or Chhath Puja. He only wants your votes,” Rahul Gandhi said at an election rally in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur.
“He can do anything for votes. If you ask Modiji to do such drama in lieu of your votes, he will do so. I am telling you… If you ask him to dance on the stage, he will dance for votes. Just try this once,” Rahul Gandhi said.
He further allege that the NDA “stole votes” in Maharashtra and Haryana and were planning to do the same in Bihar. He accused the Nitish Kumar government and the NDA coalition in Bihar, of stifling the “voice of Bihar”.
“They will try their best to ensure that a government with the voice of Bihar is not formed in Bihar. They are engaged in this. This is what SIR means. You have to put in all your efforts, and everyone has to vote for the Grand Alliance. We guarantee you that we will form a government of every class, every caste, every religion in Bihar. We will not leave anyone behind…”
“Whatever you have got till date, be it vote, education, or health, is because of the Constitution. Narendra Modi and the RSS are attacking it. When they steal votes, they attack it. They attack Ambedkar’s Constitution. When they hollow out any institution of India, when they give the post of Vice Chancellor to an RSS man, they attack the Constitution, and I am telling you that we will protect the Constitution, and no one can destroy it.”

He said if the Mahagathbandhan won in Bihar, every community will have representation in the government and administration.
“The efforts of Bihari youths developed Delhi, you gave Gujarat your blood and sweat; Bengaluru’s roads; you helped Mumbai. Your efforts developed cities across India and abroad, why can’t you do same in Bihar,” Rahul Gandhi asked people at the Muzaffarpur rally.
He further targeted the paper leak cases under the Nitish Kumar government, saying: “Students invest a lot of energy into education, but it gets wasted due to paper leaks that benefit a few.”
