The Lok Sabha elections in Fatehpur Lok Sabha constituency are going to be crucial for BJP, who has fielded their two-time sitting MP from the seat for the third consecutive time, as the historical nature of political swing can be a factor the incumbent party will be looking to avoid in the 2024 General Elections. Niranjan Jyoti, who is also a Hindu monk, has tasted success in the political arena at both state and national levels, making her a tough competitor to challenge the opposition.

However, given their stature in state politics, opposing parties cannot overlook Naresh Uttam Patel, the 2024 Lok Sabha candidate for SP from Fatehpur Lok Sabha seat. Naresh brings a lot of experience to the table as he has served as MLA, MLC, and state president of the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh.
While BJP and SP have banked on experience, Bahujan Samaj Party has decided to bank on the fresh face of Manish Patel as their Lok Sabha candidate from Fatehpur Lok Sabha constituency. This will be Manish’s first electoral experience, as prior to this, he served as the chief medical officer in Uttar Pradesh.
