The verdict has been mixed as the board has observed several ups and downs in the overall pass percentage over the past five years. According to the data provided by the Bihar Board, while the pass percentage had increased from 79 to 80 per cent in 2020, 2021 had seen a decline to 78 per cent. However, in 2023 the overall percentage was 83.70 per cent which is an increase of 3.70 per cent from previous year’s 80 per cent. The overall pass percentage this year has increased even more. It is 87.21 per cent this year.
