US drone attack kills 3 suspected militants in Pak’s North Waziristan

CIA has continued with the air attacks despite criticism for violating Pak sovereignty.

After a brief lull,a CIA-operated drone struck a house in Pakistan’s North Waziristan tribal region on Saturday, killing at least three suspected militants.

A Pakistani security official confirmed the death of three persons in the strike on a house in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan Agency.

The attack came a day after the Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz told Pakistan’s National Assembly that the government will take up the issue of drone strikes with the US in September.
