Man arrested in Kuwait for alleged terror funding, recruitment for IS: Reports

Abdulla had reportedly sent USD 1000 to four men in India including Areeb Majeed from Maharashtra who had joined the Islamic State in 2014.

One man, Abdulla Hadi Abdul Rehman Al Enezi, was arrested in Kuwait for suspected links and for terror funding and recruitment for the Islamic State Group, according to reports in ANI.

Abdulla had reportedly sent USD 1000 to four men in India, including Areeb Majeed from Maharashtra who had joined the Islamic State in 2014, according to NDTV reports.

Abdulla admitted to supporting terrorist organisations and involvement in financing terrorism, after his return from Pakistan in 2013.

In the meantime, Kuwaiti authorities have registered a case against him and arrested him on these charges.
