Russia will introduce visa-free entry for Chinese citizens in response to Beijing’s recent move to ease travel rules for Russians, President Vladimir Putin said at an economic forum in Vladivostok on Friday, according to Reuters.
China earlier announced it would allow ordinary Russian passport holders visa-free access on a trial basis for one year starting September 15, permitting stays of up to 30 days.
More details on Moscow’s reciprocal arrangement are expected.
