Video: Kids as young as five launch mortar shell in Syria

A video was uploaded last night on Liveleak.com that showed Syrian kids as young as five, pulling the trigger of a mortar. A rebel soldier is seen loading the shell and running for cover before the launch. A local Imam is also seen reciting a prayer in front of a bunch of kids, who looked visibly scared. Achilles, the Liveleak user who uploaded the video, wrote that this is an act of revenge for the Aleppo attacks that killed 87 children last December. Syria’s President, Bashar al-Assad, is said to be using barrel bombs that cause widespread damage to flush out the rebels.
